Health First (Covid-19 Protocol)

Dear Guests,

We are happy to inform you that Elena hotel has been operating again since June 1st 2020. The appearance of Covid-19 brought many changes to our lives and daily routines.
Our main priority is the safety of our guests and staff, so we have adjusted the ways of conducting our daily operations, based on the new safety protocols announced by the National Health Organization. We are ready to face the new challenges and adapt to a new normality but we will preserve the quality of services & hospitality.
Below is a list of the safety measures we have adjusted to, based on the Hotel Health Protocol.

HYGIENE AND SAFETY

Increased cleaning and disinfecting procedures inside rooms and throughout the hotel, paying attention to high-risk items (door knobs, public WC, reception desk etc.)
Installment of alcohol-based hand sanitizing stations inside rooms and public areas of the hotel.
Personal protection equipment (disposable masks & gloves) upon request.
Implementation of physical distancing measures throughout the hotel.
Extension of period between check in time and checkout time. (check in at 15.00, check out at 11.00)
Introduction of web check-in process as to minimize contact with team members.
Provision of clean and disinfected key cards upon check-in.
Removal of non-essential items from rooms (magazines, cushions, menus etc.)
Removal of mini bar items.
Daily housekeeping during your stay is suspended; we provide this service upon request. Please contact the front desk dialing No 9.
Natural ventilation throughout the hotel.
Cleaning procedures in rooms and throughout the hotel using steam cleaners, approved disinfectant and germicide products.
24h communication with Medical Care Center for suspected cases of Covid-19.
We are being updated on a daily basis, monitoring the latest developments of protocols and management tools announced by the respective authorities of the National Health Department.

BREAKFAST

Our breakfast is consisted by a buffet in portions, served by our staff between 08.00 and 11.00, in compliance with all required hygiene measures. As guests, you are asked to enter the breakfast area in turns in order to avoid congestion, our staff will serve you and you can enjoy your breakfast in the designated outdoor area or on the balcony or terrace of your room.

STAFF

Administration of daily temperature checks for our staff and suppliers, when legally permitted or required.
Comprehensive hygiene and prevention training program for the hotel stuff.
Staff is provided with personal protection equipment.

GYM

The use of the gym can be arranged upon request in order to avoid congestion. Please contact the front desk dialing No 9.
All equipment has been disinfected through a certified procedure.
Installation of alcohol-based hand sanitizing station.
Disinfection is performed after each use.

CANCELLATIONS

For cancellations made during the period 20th March to 31st May 2020, cancellation fees are not applied. For advance payments given towards reservations for the above period, you will be granted a voucher for future reservations, valid for 18 months. For the period from 1st of June and forward, standard hotel cancellation policy applies.
